Peter Mettler

Peter Mettler qualified as an architect HTL in 1985. Having graduated, he started working as a project manager for various architecture firms. He later joined IGB AG in Zurich (now IE) and was the Manager of Plast Engineering AG until 1991. During this time, he gained an Executive MBA postgraduate qualification at the University of St Gallen. In 1991, he co-founded and co-owned a group of companies specialising in property development and providing services as a total contractor (Bauengineering.com AG and Swissbuilding Concept AG). He was leading these companies as the Chairman of the Management Board and President of the Board of Directors. This group of companies was acquired by the Priora Group back in 2011.

Since then, Peter Mettler has been the CEO and Owner of Mettler2Invest AG, which focuses mainly on project development for its own use and for third parties. He has also been CEO of Novavest Real Estate AG since 2014. The company was listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange on 16 December 2019 (having been previously listed on the BX Swiss AG). He also founded SenioResidenz AG in 2017, a property company listed on the BX Swiss AG with a focus on the management and development of retirement homes and care facilities, where he acts as Delegate of the Board of Directors and CEO. From 2012 to the Annual General Meeting in May 2020, Peter Mettler was also Member and Delegate of the Board of Directors of Novavest Real Estate AG, and between April 2018 and December 2019, he was a Member of the Board of Directors of Allreal Holding AG.
